Jim White on Talksport today stated that Southampton are going to block any transfer deal for Che Adams to Leeds. Over the weekend, reports suggested that there would be a deal, a 1 mil loan fee with an option to buy, but Talksport have quashed such a move.
Elsewhere, Johan Boli, a supposed transfer target for several championship sides, has joined a Qatari team today on a 3 year deal.
So who the heck do we go for now? They sure as hell aint going to be playing against QPR
Adams and Boli off

Not sure it is ineptness, if the fans are crying out for new faces but the owner has no intention of splashing any cash but wants it to appear otherwise.
Do not trust either Radz or Kinnear.

Exactly Elsbels. Keep chasing a player until deadline and miss out, because they know it was not on anyway, mention a couple more and they fall through. Then say we really worked hard to make these players happen but sadly it was unforeseen circumstances that intervened, money stays in pocket and we limp on to end of season. Go up and AR has done a miracle with the club, fail and it wasn't his fault, everything was against him. But never mind, I did say five years didn't I.....Hope I'm wrong but I don't trust them either.

Adams would be a gamble imo.

We're not going to gamble on signings, we'll gamble promotion chances though.

Missed the Lewie Coyle transfer, sad that the lad never got a chance with us.

Think that’s Cibicki, Coyle, De Bock and Shaunessy gone, only O’Kane left now I think.

Coyle wasn't to bad at all, he just isn't Ayling or Berardi. Done really well at Fleetwood. Grot is still out on loan and I can't see him ever coming back

I think transfers, especially those involving key players, are hazardous at this time of year. You have two clubs who need to work out a deal. You have Hasenhuttl champing at the bit to keep Adams, at least until they get a better player to replace him. You have an agent who is looking for his cut and often, you have a young man whose ego has been elevated into the stratosphere and believes he is the second coming. Victor, unfortunately, will be seen as a soft touch, as with the Costa deal, and many more before. If I was Adams agent, I would be looking for a loan with a commitment to buy for 10 million and a four year contract at the end of the season, as a minimum starting point for discussion. The agent will say, 'Leeds are desperate, let's make them sweat and see how much we can get out of them.' If you think we, the fans, are suffering now, just wait until the end of the month when we are neck and neck with Brentford, Forest and Fulham.

PS 13 players have already been signed up by Championship teams. Why the fork are we always the last to the party?

I struggle to think of a deal where I think ‘wow we got a bargain there how did we manage that?’ Those 4 years deals are ludicrous having now idea how they’ll fit in when Honk van Donkelaar is head coach.
