3 matches without our main goalscorer is going to be tough. A home game against the second best defence in the league and a trip to Stamford Bridge are the first games Auba misses. Thankfully we beat Leeds so the third game is an FA Cup tie against a woefully out of form Bournemouth (although one of their 2 avoidance of defeats in the last 13 was against us).
So where are the goals going to come from? Best bet is nowhere - but lets be optimistic.
Gabriel Martinelli is our second highest scorer this season with 8, but only one has been in the Premier League.
Alexandre Lacazette has been scoring more off the pitch than on it, with just 6 goals - 5 in the league but none in last 7.
Lacas league toll is matched by centre backs. Chambers has one, but obviously is out for the season. So David Luiz and Sokratis with 2 each may be a chance.
Nicolas Pepe has got 3 league goals, and this may be the time to step up and prove he is not a flop.
Or could one of the midfielders step up and add to Torreiras one goal? This will be Castors bet I reckon
Auba has 14 goals in the league compared to 15 from the rest of the squad. Depressing stats for the forthcoming matches.
Replacing Aubas goals?

Forgot to mention Reiss Nelson and Mesut Ozil as potential scorers.

Ozil is only a potential scorer by default of being in the CAM role DJ. Let's face it, he's no 'goalscoring' CAM. The number of times he's passed up the clearly open shot, most any self respecting CAM will rightly take a crack at, is unreal. Told you, the boy is shot shy and always has been. Maybe he feels his shots are too puny to score and he has to be able to place the ball to get a goal.
Come to think of it, anyone ever seen Ozil drill one into top bins? Not some sexy curler, I know he can do that. I mean drive with ball then (from edge of/just inside the D) SMASH right through it, leaving the keeper no chance as the ball just rockets by? Ya know like KDB does on a regular.

Ozil just isn't the footballer he once was.
This was a worthy effort:

Seem to recall him leathering a couple for Germany too, just can't find it right now
