Team if we get Bruno

Think we should line up as:

.................De gea
Awb ... Lind...Maguire..Williams

I’d play mctominay but he’s injured.

In the summer we need about 4 players

I think Pereira would do ok as a squad players coming into a strong XI. I think he has something but probably not enough to nail down a starting position.

Similar to how I see him.

Only way that 3 will work is the juve way from a few years ago, make mct/fred do all the donkey work, have bruno controlling/dictating and pogba on the left side of the 3 with freedom to roam

With the emergence of Greenwood, signing one versatile attack would allow us to shift Mata, Lingard and Pereira without being any weaker.

Though I imagine outgoings will depend on what form, if any, of European football we are playing next season.

I wonder if we’d be better off having no Europa next season if we don’t get CL

No way Pogba should be in a midfield 2.

@Jim_Cocklord 12m Deal to be concluded on Wednesday. ScP have stepped down demands to get Greenwood on loan, and are settling for Ole to duet celine dion’s greatest hits to the ScP squad with Pogba and Lingard as avant garde backing dancers. Woodward currently negotiating for the 86m transfer of Celine Dion on a 3 year deal.

I’d always rather be in Europe than not. But it’s something to consider as long as it doesn’t negatively affect us too much. We’ll likely need to finish 8th for that to happen. Which isn’t beyond the realms of possibility.

Hopefully the manager figures this out.

The thing with Fred is how much work the coaching staff has put into it. Before Fred got his run in the side there were articles and pieces from him and the staff about getting him ready and up to speed of the PL. He said it himself. Ole mentioned it in preseason (his wedding delayed it as it was around then). There was also reports about Jose not wanting Fred but accepted it due to wanting another MF. I do think we can credit Fred's improvement to Ole and the coaches.

McTominay is a bit more difficult to gather though I don't think Jose would be using him in the same way as Ole has done (the same could be said of Martial and Rashford).

We have seen decline in Lingard, but I doubt many will lament his loss to the first team (or to the squad). De Gea's not hit his previous heights since the 2018 World Cup. Pereira hasn't had much form in the United team to say he hasn't been improved or if he's gone backwards. He was hardly given a chance by Jose to be fair. Matic has fallen out of off a cliff. Jones has regressed. Shaw has from last season as well. Lindelof hasn't been as good as last but I think that's down to him not complimenting Maguire in the system we play.
