Think its fair to say we do. Weve been after him since the summer and yet another window at half way point and still bumbling around.

Remember this is the same guy that spent almost the whole of the summer window on two deals.
One of those players he refused to buy for Jose a year earlier which ultimately led to his sacking and a huge pay out. 12 months later he buys the same player for a world record fee that Leicester were looking for at the start of the window but Ed ended up paying at the end of the window.
That he is bumbling around with this deal is a fair assumption by the OP

He didnt spend the Summer on 2 deals though did he.
We completed 3, negoatiated 3 big outgoing transfers plus the negotiations on the deals we couldnt get done (for a number of reasons)
Also, Leicester wanted £90m, didnt want to sell and more importantly, didnt need to sell.

We have 2 very good forwards
Plus lots of decent quality on reserve.
More than enough to get top 4 this season.

I know it's fun to slate Woodward and he deserves everything he gets but it could well be Sporting who might be holding up any deal because I wouldn't be surprised if they want to have Bruno when they play Benfica on Friday night.
I'm going to guess that by the weekend, everything will be sorted, one way or another and if we are to sign him, he'll be in the squad against Burnley.
