Dier and Vertonghen

They have really regressed. Sad to see....both have slowed down both physically and mentally. Seem to take an eternity to make a decision to pass the ball.

Verts is starting to get on a bit but Dier and Sanchez are young men and they look shot to bits.

Once again Gaz has made some great saves but like the Norwich opener the goal looked very soft. Low shots from that distance that aren't right in the corner of the goal should always be saved.

Much respect to those who went tonight. Nearly 50k for a match against a lower divisional team on a rainy Tues night that was live on BBC1 is a great turn out.

I have just got back from the match, and it looked a great crowd on an awful night.

Fair play Sandy I thought about going but I'm at Watford on Saturday and I elected to keep my powder dry for that.

Dier and Winks in midfield is pitiful. Both Championship players, and should be nowhere near starting XIs.

I actually thought Winks was ok

goes to show how easy it is to ignore talent when it's not given a chance. We times think grass is always greener. Sessegnon also improving, I noticed more aggression and better body position in the tackle today.

Ignored?
No he wasn’t. He played in preseason so he was prepared for some role in the season. Right time right moment to play. He didn’t get ignored otherwise he would be put on loan by now.

Dier, Sanchez and Eriksen were shocking last night. Absolutely terrible.

Winks is bang average, but he does cover a lot of distance.

Verts just looks finished now. Hasn't got the pace to keep up. Gutted for him, he's been a brilliant servant to the club. Time for him to move on in the summer.

Rose needs to leave too. Get rid of Wanyama.

Way things are, we need a RB, LB, 2xCB, 2DM, 1CM, 1 ST, 1 AM and maybe a winger.

We're a mess.

Dier looks like he's forgotten how to play football, him & Winks offered nothing AGAIN & it was shown up by Lamela & GLC dropping deeper to pick the ball drive us forward with some intent/ urgency. Without them its just Winks padding his useless sideways pass stats & Dier Lumbering around giving the ball away an conceding stupid fouls

OK if you like sideways and backwards go nowhere football. He just offers nothing going forward.
