Don’t know much about this Gedson Fernandes guy, but supposedly an exciting prospect and obviously a Mourinho/Mendes signing, so one thing I will say is at least Levy is backing the new regime with their own players. Need a lot more than just this though, but if this guy is a centre midfielder and he keeps Dier out of the team, then thank god.
The guy has regressed so much it’s laughable watching him now. He hasn’t strung a selection of passes to our team mates in about 2 years. No joke, he literally gives the ball away every single time he makes a pass. Without fail, every single time. Can’t shoot, can’t pass and certainly can’t run.
Should of sold him and mugged off United when his stock was high a few years ago. What a fall from grace, truly awful player. This Gedson can’t be any worse than Dier that’s for sure.

Agree Don, Dier is absolutely awful now, Winks not far behind him. Both need moving on. They certainly should not be starting.

No doubt mate although Winks can atleast find a Tottenham player with a pass, which is something Dier is incapable of.

I'd rather stick a scarecrow in the middle of the park instead of playing Dier.
At least the scarecrow serves a purpose and might even get in the way during one of their attacks.

Don't get the Winks hate. I think he is quality and I swear some of you are watching different games to me. He tries to pass forwards all the time but usually has to go sideways or backwards because there is nothing on and fack all movement around him. He made loads of passes forward yesterday but some fans just seem to ignore these!?
Also playing next to that lazy caant Eriksen or Dier does not help him, he is essentially covering two places and we might as well play with 10 men.
Sell Winks and you'd regret it. I think get the right players around him and he would flourish, or at the very least keep as a valuable squad player.
