Very interesting comment from Bielsa

Nothing in that article that wasn’t in the presser yesterday.

However it’s not correct for MB to say he’s never refused a player Orta has suggested.

But Bielsa should be driving this rather than letting Orta and Andrea the furniture salesman come up with suggestions.

It's a snapshot of the presser from yesterday, in quotes, that provides an insight to how MB views transfer activity.

Does seem strange how a man of such integrity as MB is often described, is full of sh when it comes to how players are decided upon?

As for who drives it - we're paying big bucks for a highly respected coach, who clearly states he has faith in VO to identify suitable targets. That should suffice most I'd imagine?

Your description of VO and AR as furniture salesman really enhances the view of how you perceive them and tailor contributions accordingly. I do sometimes wonder who and what it would take for an owner & management of our club to be deemed up to scratch?

Whatever the faults, we sit 2nd in the league, play footy as good and entertaining as many can remember, match attendances attest to that. Overall I get the impression most are happy with where we are. Could be better of course, we'd all like that. It's all being done without the benefit of parachute payments or fiddling the books when it comes to our finances.

Where did I describe them as this?

I am referring to Andrea, the furniture salesman that Cellinos wife hired, who is still on the books as a scout/analyst.

As for Bielsa's comments on Orta. Firstly, I think some of these things might lose something in translation although Bielsa understands English much better than when he arrived and you can see him picking up on Flores misinterpretation quite a bit.

In this window Orta has proposed players to Bielsa which Bielsa has rejected. So, for Bielsa to say otherwise is incorrect unless he somehow is interpreting something else. Bielsa is very specific in his requirements and that was clear in his comments too.

Bielsa praises Orta to the hilt, its a clever way of putting pressure on the club to deliver, rather than previous managers ways such as TC saying ask Victor, which was his standard reply to the same questions.

What a silly article, and thread, loaded with conspiracy theory's and propaganda to something that actually never happened.
