Seems that the fans worldwide just can't get enough of this brilliant Liverpool team.
UEFA has revealed it's fan voted team of the year, and after millions of votes, it is of course Liverpool players that dominate:
GK: Alisson
RB: Alexander Arnold
CB: Van Dijk
CB: De Ligt
LB: Robertson
Mid: De Bruyne
Mid: De Jong
FW: Mane
FW: Ronaldo
FW: Messi
FW: Lewandowski
Interestingly, its being reported that UEFA moved away from their usual 4-3-3 formation for this team, to a 4-2-4 becuase there was "a desire by UEFA chiefs to ensure Juventus' Ronaldo appeared, despite the 34-year-old receiving fewer votes than fellow forwards Lionel Messi, Sadio Mane and Robert Lewandowski.
Ronaldo's inclusion and the formation change came at the expense of Chelsea midfielder N'Golo Kante, according to ESPN sources."
So despite UEFA shenanegans, nothing could stop the voice of the fans who overwhelmingly voted for all of these great liverpool players.

Kante keeps getting in these things for this year and I don't really get it. Great player don't get me wrong, but not been one of the best midfielders of this year.

Personally, and may be in the minority, I thought last year was his best in the premier league. Thought he was fantastic in a poor side.

I don't see how it can really be his best season when he was so far off winning it, something he has done twice before already.
Wijnaldum and Henderson both deserve to be in this conversation. I'd say Fernandinho and Bernardo Silva should be too. Possibly someone from another league but not watched enough of Europe this year.
I'd have those four ahead of Kante in terms of the last year though.

I thought it was judging of individual performances and players abilities, not what the teams won?
I dont see how you can judge kantes performances on teams performance? last year was also arguably hazards best season and we didnt win the league...

Individual performance is fine and all, but all those players for me.played better than him individually too. And obviously winning stuff is a barometer for success.
Hazard maybe worth a mention but his turgid start to.life at Real won't have helped him.

Well like I say I think last year, performance wise was kantes best in a chelsea shirt atleast, he just keeps improving as a player.
Maybe its stands out more because hes in a poorer side, but I dont think some people (due to us not being in league contention and CL last year) saw some of his performances last year.
