A more accurate term these days would be Momentum Killer. Counter attack after counter attack, killed off not by Sheffield's great defence but by Ozil's passing. Martinelli, Saka and Pepe MUST wanna kick him the face after that game. So what's the excuse for Ozil here then?
Aside from a couple hairy moments at the end, gotta say Luis, Mustafi, Torreira and Xhaka were solid, providing our CAM with a solid platform and plenty of quick ball. Pepe, Laca and Martinelli were all busy, making the back line work for it. And both Saka and Maitland-Niles were getting forward. So what excuse exactly does Ozil have for not doing what everyone insists is his thing. The reason we pay him all that money and so many say he MUST be playing. STILL not doing it, even when he is given ideal conditions to do it in.
Told you lot, he's DONE! Our overall results form will not pick up until he is removed from the starting lineup. If Arteta didn't see that today then he ain't gonna. So you guys best hope he does. Or strap in to be at least flirting with relegation come May. FFS 20 odd games should be enough for even his staunchest supporters to see the weak link he is. Was bad enough as a defensive weak link. We CAN'T keep carrying him as an attacking one as well now.
* If Arteta sub's out Ozil 5 mins earlier, Sheffield Utd don't get that equaliser. He killed breaking momentum that many times, we were ALWAYS going to lose the ball and concede.

Yes and they'll be staying that way until each of the Ozil fanboys is forced to admit he is sh!t. They'll have to eventually. Each game he is useless, harder it becomes to justify his being there.

If Ceballos is fit again then yes. He at least deserves to get some games. If based on nothing else but the the fact Ozil is being totally useless, even with the defence working well behind him.
CAN'T just keep flogging the same dead horse, waiting for Ozil to be good again. 20 odd games says clearly NOT GONNA HAPPEN! So get him out and Ceballos in. Ceballos certainly can't do any worse than Ozil has been. Given a run of games, he might just do way better.

Just watching him today alot of the time he was to deep to have any affect on the game and when he did get in the final third he managed to over hit passes. For him that's just not good enough, if he's not going to contribute goals then he needs to ensure others are getting the necessary chances. The last regime have got a lot to answer for with giving him that contract.
