Haaland hat-trick on debut

https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11899/11911694/erling-haaland-scores-23-minute-hat-trick-on-borussia-dortmund-debut

Kid's a bit special. Comes off the bench at 56 minutes with Dortmund losing 3:1, and scores a hat-trick in 20 minutes.

There are players like Moise Keane who've had over half a season and not bagged a goal yet, and here's Haaland coming on and being the cat's pyjamas. Dortmund's a good fit for him at this stage of his career being so young. A couple of impressive years there and then the PL or La Liga will be calling.

So cheap as well. Ed should have forced him to come to us lol.

What with? If money isn’t his motivation we’d have no chance on footballing reasons

I wonder whether Haaland's dad would have told him not to go to Utd because he got beaten up by Roy Keane. I imagine he heard plenty of anti-Utd things growing up. It wouldn't be the only factor though and some kids wouldn't care about what their parents said anyway.

Doubt it. It sounds like he made a choice of carefully mapping his career rather than choosing big bucks.

Yes, he seems to have a good head on his shoulders and he's taking it all in his stride. There are quite a number of good young players coming through across different leagues and I reckon he'll have the talent and mentality to be among the best of them.

What's happened to him? I remember some people last summer talking him up as the next big thing.

Haaland scored 2 more goals again last night for Dortmund...after coming off the bench on 65 minutes.

It's a goal every 12 minutes of being on the pitch. 5 goals in 2 games.
