Just wondered who here who cares about records?
Imo I'm not too fussed if we lose 2/3 games and win the title if it meant we rest players later in the PL to give us a push for another CL and the FA Cup.
Regardless of what team Klopp puts out I believe we're just in autopilot mode at the moment. I've learned to just trust Klopp with the team selection and that they will get the job done.
Win tomorrow and I may just say it, dare I say it? I've been waiting for this moment for a long time.
For some reason I can't seem to get myself to say it even though if the roles were reversed and City were ahead by this margin with 2 games in hand I would definitely have conceded the title.

Records are nice and all but to be perfectly honest all I care about is winning the league, whether it’s by 10 points or 1 goal

At this rate we’re be winning the league late March.
Then the focus will turn to the champions league if we’re still in it.
We have a good run of fixtures after the wolves game so we should be able to rotate like we did late November early December time if need be.
Not too fussed about the unbeaten league thing, would prefer to go all out for the champions league once the league is done.

Going invincible the season would be some feat. I would not knock that at all. And if we could do it against the most expensive assembled squad the prem has seen and poss best ever seen that would be a ridiculous achievement.

I fully expect us to drop points once the league is wrapped up and our focus is elsewhere, assuming we can get past Atletico, which isn’t a given.
Records wise, it was nice to set that best ever start in top 5 European Leagues, but let’s just get the league won before we think about anything else.
