I’d argue they are very very good too, but the competition in the league and Europe has been bad these last couple of years. City had it together last year, and won, they’ve not been the sand this year. Liverpool are arguably better this year too, but only by a fine margin.

City added to their best PL squad ever. Tottenham buying and breaking transfer record after a long time. Liverpool better. Arsenal better than last year and breaking their transfer record. Chelsea playing attractive football since Ancelotti time. Man U keep breaking transfer record year after year but they don't know what they're doing. So I will say it's better than last year. More teams can take points from the champions. Liverpool only had one team beating them since last year
