Embarrassing if true

If reports are to be believed, it seems the owners had been in discussions about Che Adams coming to Leeds since October after there were indications Nketiah might be recalled due to lack of game time.

Whilst I understand that nothing could happen before the window opened in January, it beggars belief that we were still "d**king about" over 2 weeks into the window to try and get him. How long do we really need to get a deal in place?

Add to that that Arsenal weren't happy with how we were using Nketiah as early as October then the whole situation is hugely embarrassing & a damning indictment of how our club is run.

I feel totally sick with all of this on top of the chemotherapy I'm on. Sick of the bulls**t from the owners, sick of their ineptitude, sick of the over-analysis and excuses after every match, and sick of the lack of ambition and amateur way the owners run the club.

We've been given a glimpse of what could be but we're being held back by cheapskate owners who don't understand where the real bread and butter lies. I don't care if the U23s win the title for the next 3 centuries. Concentrate on what matters most instead of scouring European markets for kids to fill the creche with.

I don't know if it would have been better not to have expectations raised in the way we have. You either go the whole hog or don't start at all.

I'm so down and tired with all of this now. Can't explain it but something inside broke today. Enough is enough. I've had it with these business-men, their meaningless platitudes and their empty promises.

Whatever happens between now and the end of January, never mind the end of the season, makes no difference to me anymore. I've had my fill.

Goodnight folks and if it's remotely possible, enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Elland - puts it all in perspective really. Shows when push comes to shove,, football is a trivial irrelevance compared to real life.

Here's wishing you all the very best and all I can really say is M.O.T.

Well back then it was looking likely that Hassenhutl might get sacked any day, so if he was the block then you can understand out interest. Their upturn in firm has probably fecked us though.

Hope all goes well for you Elland. I’ve quite a few friends who have been where you are but they all made a good recovery in the end. I also hope you have a double celebration come May.

We Leeds fans seem to have been waiting forever to get back to the Premiership. The nightmare has gone on far longer than any “living the dream” did.

I find I can never sleep after Leeds have played - especially if they lost in the fashion they did yesterday. I had a bad night again last night. I get wound up far too much. There always seems to be an injustice against us when we lose - the hand ball yesterday, the wrongful penalty against us and Berardi red-carded, goals chalked off that weren’t offside but were flagged as such - the list goes on. It is the same every season. Last season I think it was the Spygate thing that started the downslide. I think it was the Cardiff game that started this season’s, but not having enough players in the squad is the biggest reason and selling Roofe and Pontus was madness. We haven’t built on last season, we have regressed, and the team is much weaker with no decent players on the bench to change anything.

Maybe the miracle will still happen but at the moment it is looking very unlikely. I think we all felt especially low after yesterday’s performance and result.
I am always away in the Canaries in January and Leeds United manage to ruin my holiday every single year, mainly because it’s the transfer window and the fans’ hopes are never fulfilled and the club never sign anyone to strengthen the team.

Rant over. I intend to enjoy the sun and forget about Leeds for a while.

Elland, sorry to hear your current health problems. Your comments show a positive outlook on that topic and we all wish you the very best. You were a very early sign up for JA606 after the BBC606 departed and have made many contributions on our clubs fortunes.
A great tonic for you would be our promotion this season.
Here's to a great outcome for you and a bonus for you from the club.

Wishing you all the best Elland and stay positive.

More important things than football but hoping you have a double celebration in the not too distant future.
