More about the players
The good..
Fred grew into the game and was very good. Shaw was excellent too.
The bad..
Martial really should have done better with the scraps he had. Maguire should have done better with the header for their goal. Still don’t know what Pereira is.
The ugly...
Lindelof, James and AWB were terrible.
We played a bit better than I thought we would but at the same time had Liverpool played better it would have been a thrashing with their chances. A fair score would have been 5-2
Onwards to Burnley and Wolves - beat them both and today can be forgotten

didn't think James was terrible, but I do think he's out of form and needs a rest.

That he needs a rest came to mind looking at him midweek when nothing he was trying came off.
I wouldn't have started with him myself and he continued on from the wolves game wasting a couple of early promising moves for us
He came into it more in the last 15 minutes or so but really should have been hooked at halftime along with Pereira imo
