God, how embarrassing and cringe worthy was that half time outburst by Sounness today. His reaction to what was clearly a foul on the keeper was so bad, even the host had to ask if he was ok.
Sorry, Graeme, but contact on any keeper like that, in any game in any of our 4 divisions would be blown as a foul, so expecting your beloved Liverpool to get away with,and doing it live on TV, was just showing yourself up mate.
I mean, it is not as though Liverpool have had a bucket full of luck and breaks on countless occasions, Souness seems to think his club should be above the law, even when VAR get involved.
The only thing to come out of this farce is that, maybe, just maybe, Sky might have a re think on their constant format of placing ex players in their commentary boxes and studio, as it is clearly resulting in embarrassing coverage, that is no doubt being laughed at, not only by the rest of their viewers, but presenters from other sports that do give an unbiased, balanced presentation.
Lastly, perhaps one day, people in positions of power in the game, might eventually realise that Sky's joke presentation style might be contributing to the ever increasing hate we all see in the game. Probably not, but who knows.
