Make or break for Ole

I think this Window is make or break for Ole.

He should be demanding 1 or 2 quality signings now. If he doesnt then, then he should go, as it's clear he is a poor judge of the squads ability.

If the club refuse or fail to deliver the required signings, then Ole should tell the fans that this was the case. If he doesnt, then he doesnt have the character to do what is best for the club.

The owners might not be impressed should Ole let on that they didnt support him, but this would surely be the trigger for the fans to really apply pressure on the club to replace the owners / execs. He has always said hed do what's best for the club.

Agreed?

First of all it's the January transfer window which is near impossible to get quality and value out of.

Secondly ole had £150m to spend and wasted it. It seems he is just going for flavours of the months in Maguire and AWB, and now Bruno.

The board are backing him but Ole needs to up his game.

I look at the Liverpool game and why can't we find gems like Wijnaldum or Robertson? Why does every signing we make have to be a player who's made it or hyped up or out of reach?

Miss the days of Evra and Vidic style signings. Ole needs to be much more shrewd in the transfer market.

Buendia. Buendia. Buendia. Someone will sign him. Why not us?

Our scouts were checking out Haaland, after literally every other club in the world was aware of him. Whilst Liverpool were signing his team mate for 7.5 million. That's not to say the guy they got is going to be a great player. But it does handily reflect the manner in which the two clubs do things

I think Sir Alex could get away with lambasting the club about signings, but that was after he won a lot of silverware. Ole can't complain publicly without fear of losing his job. In a way - he's too loyal to the club. It's Ed that's killing us - not Ole.

People can't call out basic things about employers on their Facebook page because of the repurcussions it can have on their job. I've dismissed people based purely on social media posts and you expect Ole to come out and slate his employers to the world media?

Do you have any idea of the impact it could have om him? It could not only cost him his job but have a detrimental impact on future jobs. Jose just about gets away with it because of his incredible record but even then he tends to speak in a sort of code.

No one in their right mind is going to come out in a press conference and display the kind of candour you're asking for. It shows how incredibly naive and ignorant you are to even think that's reasonable.

I've no doubt Ole knows exactly where we're struggling and is probably far more frustrated than you. Most fans watch united on a stream and discuss us on the Internet. He's been a part of this club to a point you can never dream of achieving. He's most likely got a very deep affection for it and understands it behind scenes like we never will. He's spent years there as a player, knows the non footballing staff, owes a massive part of his career to the place. I'm sure he doesn't need some absolute nobody on a forum to tell him what is needed but I imagine he has an awful lot of red tape to get through, just as Jose did. We aren't run well at the moment and the manager isn't the big I am at clubs like they were 39 years ago. I would think he's having to juggle the staff, players, fans and board all whilst having fairly limited control and that won't be easy to do. Especially when every person who has zero experience in football thinks they're an expert.

Ridiculous article.

Impossible to argue with that. Brilliant comment 👍

How about the fact im not trying to tell Ole what to do. Simply talking with fellow nobody's on the internet.

Who said anything about lambasting the club?

All Ole has to do come 2 Feb is say something along the lines of 'Yeah, we had targets but the club couldnt deliver them for whatever reason'

Absolutely. What I found weird was that our wonderful scouting operation still needed to watch him at the time they were playing Liverpool. It suggests we were dithering. That we were incapable of making a move. That we were dithering. You know, the sort of thing we repeatedly do. Who am I kidding, you're the only person who doesn't know
