Facts are the if Jose just gave him 1 game over xmas instead of running kane into the ground , kane would not now be injured

That's definitely not a fact.

Kane is out for the season so Jose wants a striker.

If Jose plays parrot and he does well, it lessens his argument for needing a new striker and levy keeps his wallet shut.

Sadly Jose can’t risk that, so no parrot

I genuinely do think this kind of thinking is how Mourinho works. He'll make purposefully questionable decisions in order to prove a point.

If Foden could get into City team and get games then Parrott should be able to get into a hapless mid table team with 1 win in 6.

Foden doesn`t get into the team very much though does he. One or two cameo appearances in a team with no pressure on it most of the time. Spurs are not in a position to just chuck youngsters in willy nilly, when nearly every game they play goes down to the wire.

Had the previous manager taken the League Cup more serious, then perhaps Parrott would have been getting more game time.

Aside from the fact Foden plays much more than "one or two cameo appearances" (by my research he has 5 starts this season and about 13 sub appearances)... this makes no sense.

"If Pochettino had taken the League Cup more seriously Parrott would have been getting more game time" - surely if Pochettino had taken the cup more seriously, then 2nd-stringers like Parrott wouldn't have got a look in?
