Do you think the season would be this bad

Do you think the season would be

Edu is our technical director. So was Mislintat. What did Wenger say about technical directors?
The players you talk about Wenger bargain hunting were all done under David Dein as director of football. Name the top bargains he bought after 2008? Welbeck? Sanogo? Park? Joel Campbell? Even the successes, like Alexis were well known and from top clubs.
So fans gave Ozil a new contract and not Wenger? Are you saying Wenger had no power at Arsenal? If you believe that then how can you credit him with any achievements whatsoever?
Mustafi £35m, Xhaka £35m and Kolsaniac on £140k a week is no big deal? £350k a week to Ozil. £180k a week to Mkihi. Often injured Ramsey on £250k a week? Wilshere on £140k a week? When these players were given huge contracts £35m was a big deal! It may not be now. But you know there is a thing called inflation.
What do you mean skirt around the appointments. Wenger refused to appoint any one with any football knowledge to contradict him after Davide Dein left the club. How can you ignore the fact the players we have bought since Wenger left are contracted to agents who Wenger refused to deal with?

Considering how poor United and Chelsea are and the struggles of Spurs I actually think we would be nailed on 4th.
But like someone has said, the atmosphere around the club would be disgusting.
Anyone who disputes this is just silly. Proof of Wengers ability even in difficult times was how he got Sanchez to perform whilst employing a high line (almost City like) with rubbish defenders and a rubbish midfield.
God knows how he even managed to get 5th with us playing that way.

It would definitely be worse, by the end Wenger couldn't do anything in away games and the whole thing had gone stale...

HHHHELL NO!!
NOBODY, not even AW's worst detractors, thinks that we'd be where we are now under Wenger. And any one of them saying they do is a damn liar.
It's the bigass Arsenal elephant in the room that none of 'em want to acknowledge. Because according to all of them at the time, "Any idiot could do better than Wenger."
After you dis a man like that, hard to admit the truth publicly without looking stupid. Hence not many of them will admit it. But trust me, they know it and are indeed feeling very stupid about the whole thing. Moreso with each draw/loss that passes.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Finally someone saying what we know the rest of these entitled idiots are thinking, too much pride to admit that even at Wenger's worst we'd be doing way better than this, because they know it would make them look very stupid 🤦♂️

The manner if which Wenger left has done more damage than people appreciate. Decimated team morale and filled the club with nothing but toxic air. Arsenal fans have GOT to start taking THEIR OWN SHARE OF THE BLAME for a lot of the p!as poor results we've had in the last 3-5 years.
Our fans seem to believe that it was Wenger, the players and board. THEY'VE been blameless. The atmosphere generated by Arsenal fans, has been FOUL for about 8 years now. Plastic mentality producing excessive UNWARRANTED bile, targeted at players whom don't even deserve it. Even when people play well, constant stream of negativity and abuse. NOT CONDUCIVE TO YOUR PLAYERS PERFORMING WELL FOR YOU!
This entire mess has been largely SELF PERPETUATED by idiot spoilt brat Arsenal fans who were too stupid to understand just who was responsible for them having the luxury of a title challenging. First they boo boyed the desire out of the players, then the boo-boyed the manager out of the club. THEN the dumb fecks went and boo boyed the teams biggestand biggest problem, straight back into a starting spot. But oh no, then they boo-boy that manager our the club too. Even though the only change he made, is the one they demanded. Also happened to be the change which has done this season's damage. Just keep checking their toys out the pram, then getting sh!tty about it afterward when they see the mess they made chuckin' em. ALL the while, refusing to take any responsibility for anything that's gone wrong.

Of course we would be much worse off and the club would somehow be in even worse shape than it is now.
Wenger has ruined his legacy at Arsenal as far as I’m concerned. He could have left Arsenal with a decent squad for a manager like Klopp or even Pep to take us to the next level but he let his ego get the better of him.
Xhaka, Mustafi, Ozil, Mkhi all expensive Wenger flops that have crippled this club and that’s without mentioning the money he spent on 2 strikers that we can’t get playing well together

We would be much worse now if under Wenger than we are now? Sarcasm? If not...then what logic did you use to come to that conclusion?
Are you from some alternate universe where Arsenal were ever in the bottom half of the table at Christmas under Wenger? If so tell us more about this....🤔

Wishful facesave thinking. Absolutely nothing in Wenger's Arsenal history, supports the assertion we'd be this dire and this low down the table. That was his biggest talent, overachieving with the talent available to him. So many Arsenal fans simply didn't/still don't appreciate this so have never realised just how far above their weight Wenger always kept his players punching.
Someone doesn't accomplish that for 20 odd years and suddenly not be able to do it. That is a consistent talent he will have forever, wherever he goes. Say whatever you like about idiot plastic fans booing him, that may indeed have gotten worse. But the results on the pitch would not have slid this badly under Wenger. Even in his last season, the form was nowhere near flirting with relegation. Bottom line, the people who booed him out of the club rather than just leave things to draw to close naturally. Thought they knew oh so much better than all who warned against the boo-boy course of action. Obviously and predictably, they were wildly incorrect.
The utter shambles we've seen since he left is largely because of how he left. Might have annoyed AFTV clowns for him to stay one more season but the club would have faired better for it. It would have allowed a season with him here, to get organised for his leaving. We wouldn't have gotten Emery, when him when we wanted a better manager whom would be available come the end of last season. But we had to sign Emery because we needed a manager. Lost our true management target the second we signed Emery. Total transition balls up, why, because impatient AFTV brats, forced everyone into a cowboy rush job. If this fan base doesn't hurry up and start learning from it's previous mistakes, we're truly stuffed. Because AFTV and it's mentality will continue to repeating their self destructive idiots cycle.

Explain why Wenger is not managing any of the top clubs in the World?

As another poster has stated, if Wenger stayed the atmosphere would be horrendous. Protests, confrontations, air plane shenanigans. Wenger was a visionary when he arrived but completely misjudged the direction of the modern game. Most of this tea are his players and they can’t run for 90 mins! Every other team adapted faster than we did, Wenger just kept on with the whole focus on our game not the opponents, keep possession with out working out what to do without possession. He would be a man out of time today
