Summer signings

Literally money down the drain. James Awb and Maguire none are good enough to be starting for us. The team is actually weaker with them 3 in the team then last season. Would any off them get in the other top 5 or 6 sides.

James needs a rest, Just gives the ball away.

I championed him last year but only as a promising squad option rather than weekly starter. He's been overplayed for sure.

AWB has no place in these criticisms. He’s been fantastic, and has shown progress in attack - his final ball isn’t perfect but it’s been much better recently. He made four good chances in the first half alone today.

Good players but they weren't priorities in the Summer.

Keep Smalling and buy 2 CM's and a wide player and wed be a far better side now.

Maguire is better than Smalling but there’s not much in it, certainly not enough to loan the later and spend a world record fee on the former IMO.

When Liverpool bought VVD, he was a H U G E upgrade on Lovren, massive. If they’d followed our method, they’d have loaned Lovren and paid a record fee for James Tarkowski, yeah ok, he’s a bit better, but ffs.

AWB’s delivery was much better tonight, I thought, he should have had a least one assist, if he keeps it up he’ll be fine. He’s already great at one-on-one defending which is a God-send.

James, a £15 million winger from Swansea should be in-and-out of the team, being introduced slowly, not flogged because we don’t have any other options.

I think all three have done alright tbh, certainly not major problems or players who need to be moved on anytime soon.

AWB is a top defender who looks like he is improving going forward.

James is a decent squad player but we needed more than that in the summer.

Maguire is good but a needless signing.

11 points worse off then last season. This three have played is pretty much everyone off them games.

What are people seeing in AWB?

His crossing improved? I get the feeling he just whacks it in and hopes someone gets on the end of it.

He dribbles like bambi on ice and today he was targeted by burnley and was either out of position or struggling to assert himself at RB.

He tires himself out from tackling and being out of position and chasing back. He looks brainless to me.

Dan james isnt a 17 year old who needs bedding in, he is 23 this year, he should be making marks on the first team.
