is he doesn't scowl enough. Of course he often looks a bit glum but when he shakes hands with the oppo manager he manages a smile.
This isn't good enough, the mark of a top manager is to be able to scowl, frown, show his anger of the poor performance, it's no good keeping it for the dressing room, we want to see it on the pitch. He should take Sir Matt as his model.
Poch will produce his best look of fury when he takes over, time to get him in. With this squad currently, injuries included, he will have plenty of chances to show us how a top manager should look after a loss.
The problem with Ole

Right now we need a manager to build a team and style of play. Poch is one of the top candidates for that.

Exactly
I remember some of these doubts back in 2015 about Klopp when people said he should take over from LVG
‘He bottles finals’ etc as if that told the whole story about his quality

Klopp had and has a different mentality to that. He broke BM monopoly in Germany. He’s made of similar stuff to SAF. You can see that in him. That’s what we should aspire to, that type of manager. Not Poch.

Just look at Barca. They have just hired a coach who I think has won nothing. They are more interested in coaching ability. Add some good players, and success should follow.

Poch is the best manager to build a team and also improve individual players.
He has a clear style of play and good tactics.
Spurs will regret what they have done.
This will be the best decision in years if Woodward appoint Poch.

I get that you underrate Poch but the guy will end up at a huge club if we don’t get him and by that point we’ll have missed out on one of the few suitable managers for us.

There isn't a klopp or pep available right now. Even if there was, they probably would have better offers elsewhere.

And that, my dear friend, is the point. Until we stop being run like a circus, there is absolutely no point in changing managers every 18 months. A well run club can attract top people, even when they’re not available.

But Barcelona are better run than us, they can afford that luxury. We’re failing at every level. That’s what needs to change now. But from what I can gather, the Glazers American football team is run like crap as well, so I guess we just need to buckle in and try to find something we like about it.

Thing is though, as the club is poorly run, things slowly deteriorate for every manager. Eventually it get so bad something has to give. And it will always be the manager. Its only a matter of time.
