I have no issue at all with media pundits showing their allegience to one club or the other, and indeed pundits like McMoist and DJ dont try to hide their feelings about their club but they dont in the main do it in an offensive way.Nor indeed do guys like Sutton and Hartson ,but it seems to me that SKY have a massive anti Celtic bias? its like their employees are told to have a dig at Celtic?Even ex Celts like Walker ,Commons and Nicholas! Boyd though takes it to ridiculous extremes, get him tae Feck of the telly.That ridiculous rant against Griffiths was obscene !!! I know ive had a go at Griff but im not broadcasting on national TV!!! There are certain lines that should never be crossed, and BOYD crosses them repeatedly.Worst thing that could have happened for Celtic fans is Sky taking over the rights to the SPL ,BT coverage was brilliant and humorous, SKY coverage is downright bigotry

When people use the "whitabootery" angle it just means they are trying to avoid the question.
Boyd was well out of order on a number of fronts as a presenter the other night. He let his emotions run away with him. He got angry and lashed out. His stats were simply just wrong (pretty much a basic requirement for a sports commentator) and he decided for his own reasons not to take in the consideration of clear and obvious mental health in Griffiths case.
Particularly when he is a patron (?) of a mental health charity and has direct family experience of the potential awful consequences.
For his own good he should take some time out. His anger management and clear bias is just ruining any decent stuff he might come out with.
Ex players will always have a loyalty to the club and fans who paid them and they do say things to get the phones ringing, the comment count up and elicit controversy, but he went way beyond the pale on Wednesday. To ignore that and not call it out for what it is, is churlish in the extreme.
