Usually when a club is drawn away

to a side from the same division in the FA Cup, especially in the Prem, then the away side is usually very happy to come away with a draw, and take the game to a replay on their home patch. Pretty football is not the Order of the day, the only thing is to still be involved in the FA Cup. Performance means zero if you play brilliantly, and get knocked out. Sooner play poorly and progress in any cup competition. That is the nature of the beast.

So why are our supporters so miserable this evening that Spurs are still in the FA Cup. Most afterall predicted pre kick off that Spurs were going to lose. I was one of the few that thought Spurs could win today, and said I would be happy with a draw.

It`s the FA Cup fellas, you don`t have to be brilliant, you just have to get through each round as it comes.

Years ago every Spurs fan in the country would have been happy to go away in the cup to a 1st division side and come away with a draw, and bring the opposition back to WHL for a replay. Why are modern fans so different?

Just to remind you all that we could have had a world class CF last summer if only Levy had been willing to negotiate some antiquated advertising agreements ......

Dybala was thinking of coming here last summer.......

Levy wouldn't do the deal, and now Dybala is happily banging them in for Juve

Sandy .... you're showing your age, Old boy.
Happy with an away draw in the tin pot cup?

The modern younger Spurs fan expects a lot more.
And funnily enough, Pochettino, for all his faults, almost delivered the CL a season ago.
Can your beloved Mourinho do the same?
With Levy to deal with, I'm beginning to doubt it.

Mourinho has already delivered CLs, nothing to prove Ted. I will take an FA Cup, most of the modern young supporters have never seen Spurs win any trophy.

I do not think he has delivered a CL for us, has he?
You're beginning to sound like a Donald Trump supporter with that kind of obfuscation!

Southampton bang in form and we simply are not. A draw isn’t a bad result there

Well the fact he has only been at the club for three months may be one of the reasons he has not delivered a CL for Spurs yet. May as well say he has never been knocked out of the CL while managing Spurs.

Getting knocked out is far more likely to happen this season than the former!
Think about it Sandy Old boy.
Think we can get by RBLeipzig, sandy?
We can't even get by Southampton!!
