Alli is vastly overated imo, suspect Fernandes might end up the better of the two.

I doubt Bruno would hit the same numbers dele has in the prem.

Maybe not, but alli did play pretty much as a striker/second striker flor a lot of that didn’t he?

He played behind Kane in 3 then dropped into a midfield 3 season. This season he seems to be alternating between both.

Chris is right though our fans hate dele for losing the ball a lot but Bruno does that loads too.

Part of being a creative player, you have to try things that often don’t work. That said, I’ve never found alli to be all that creative, good in getting in positions but not a great ball player imo.

Yes that’s exactly why dele loses possession a lot. He’s very creative even if he technical ability isn’t there high.

There are tons of creative players who don’t loose the ball as much as Dele does. He has minimal ball manipulation or retention skills. Not that difficult to spot really.
And our fans excuses for him ..tired, injured, wrong position...
We are one of the worst teams at keeping the ball at the mo and players like him don’t help.

We'd barely create a thing without Dele in the team and we are finding it hard to score as It is. He's not having a negative impact on the team if that is what you are implying

It happens because they try high risk high reward things.

you could see how frustrated he was yesterday. Trying very hard but not executing. The role is new for him really as is playing behind son/lucas. He needs to improve and hopefully he will, but needs tk play to do that

Dele doesn't even attempt to try anything he gives the ball away. Got his strengths but poor ball handling skills. My pet hate

we confusing getting dispossessed with misplacing a pass.

Misplacing an attempted forward pass is far mor forgivable than losing the ball at the first challenge.

I get it everyone looses possession , even the best players. But Dele's position is key to any top team and for one chasing top 4 and titles etc its unforgivable the alarming rate at which he does it.

yup, he thinks he is better than he is. Take one touch, get it under control then look for a good pass....instead I feel he thinks he is playing fifa and think pressing x as fast as you can is the key to great football

This article is confusing. Without seeing him play for us, in the PL, or even just a decent league, it's impossible to say.
