u23's confirmed for replay

OFFICIAL.

Jurgen Klopp says that no senior players will be involved in the FA Cup fourth round replay and he won’t manage the team. Neil Critchley will be in charge #LFC - James Pearce

I’m not overly bothered to be honest. I’d like to think the young lads can show some bottle and with a home crowd behind them, can go through to next round.

The senior players were absolutely appalling (bar Adrian)

Agreed. And if it means the senior players get a rest that will enable them to push on and reach the latter stages of the CL and possibly go unbeaten in the PL then I'm all for it.

I dunno. If you don't win the CL, or get the record points total, both possible (you will win the league of course).
And in the unlikely event United win the cup you may think differently.
And does a record points total mean more than the cup? Not for me it doesn't. I've no idea who had it before City, and don't care.

It’s runs against the grain for me but it’s hard to second guess Klopp on this run. The truth is his managing of the back up players had bridged the gap between us and City, who on paper have a stronger squad.

I don't like this. A day out at wembley could be in the offing and a chance to win the FA Cup, we should dismiss this quite so easily imo.

Nothing should distract us from removing that 30 year old monkey from our back.

Let the kids loose on the FA Cup. Once the league is done then the focus can change.

klopp should still take the game.

people need to realise that the club has already loaned out kids and doesn't have an 11 capable of that game.

it's not on to not take the game. period.

Not overly fussed. Winning the cup is great, but the Prem has to come first. Take no chances. Second is defending our CL. The FACup is 3rd in the list of priorities and if that means we have to rest the senior players, as we have done in the last two rounds, then so be it.

klopp doesn't need to rest himself as well.

fa should throw a 16 point deduction his way

Maybe he does. And I wouldn’t begrudge him it either
