Well there we go, after last nights

draw for the 5th Round of the FA Cup, looks like Spurs will in all probability have to beat five Prem League sides in order to win this year`s FA Cup. The most of any club in the country. There`s a surprise. No easy draws for Spurs.

Last night`s round has paired Spurs at home to Norwich, if they beat Southampton, the only definite all Prem tie in the Round, who would have though it would have been Spurs that would get it?

Right so that`s the bad news, the good news is, that at least two of those ties are at WHL, and two will be at Spurs second home Wembley, a ground where Spurs have won more games than any club in the country. So that only leaves perhaps a 6th round game home or away to negotiate. Portsmouth away could be a bit tricky.

Anyway it is my belief that the cup is going to end up at WHL this season for the first time in nearly 30 years, so home or away who cares, bring it on.

Oh and I don`t want you non believers getting my Cup Final ticket, which is usually the case, when a team gets to a final, the tickets end up with the once a year supporters.

Norwich at home is a great draw as they have much bigger fish to fry than the Cup.

The difficult bit will be getting past Southampton who are a very good away team and will probably not have any relegation fears to consider when picking their starting 11 at the Lane.

Looks like Van Der Vaart no less has vouched for this Steve Bergwijn 👍
Good thing?

Certainly not easier than Liverpool`s Youth Team.

I expect Spurs to go strong and beat Southampton. But for poor finishing should have won easily at the weekend.

The gap between Spurs and Norwich is probably bigger than Shrewsbury and Liverpool youth.

I fancy Spurs to do well in the cup, Jose will be focusing on getting silverware.

Plenty of big sides left in the draw but we should be getting to the quarters, minimum.

How about a rerun of the ‘81 final? I’d love that and win or lose hope we could put on a real show. Guarantee it won’t be our under 11s taking the field, and our managers will actually be there not at home watching Love Island on catch up.

One of the all time great cup finals, the 1981 replay.
