Bruno means good bye Ole

It seems Manchester United have now succumbed to the brinkmanship tactics used by Sporting, to what is securing Bruno Fernandes services.

Yet if Bruno does sign for United as it is now anticipated to do so, this would mean, imo, the end of Ole.

Bringing such an illustrious player as Bruno means the club now wants to ensure their most precious asset, provided he did sign for them, would be wasted under the green at shoots, very raw Mr Ole.

Bruno would not be best utilised by an ex-player who's credentials as a coach or a manager are very much lacking.

In my view, United by making this outlay on Bruno, have clarified their hands that they are paving the way for a more qualified coach/manager to take the helm at United.

Paving the way for someone better - who? I think Poch. The fans unconditionally favourite one.

Bruno comes now, Poch comes in summer.

What say you? - all speculations but feels that way.

I don't think Ole will be sacked any time soon. He still has the fans on his side, particularly match going ones.

I think the biggest reason is even if United wanted Pochettino there is probably some clause where he can't manage another club in the Premier League until next season.

Rumor is Barcelona are making Bruno Fernandes an offer. In which case I would think Bye Bye United.

Too bad Spurs didn't go for him earlier....instead we went for the other Fernandes , and lets hope that works out.

No rumour they have made an offer, before united made there revised one which included add ons. Sporting wouldn't get most of their money until the summer with Barcas offer

Eh?

United backing their manager to the tune of £50m is a sign they're looking to get rid?

The question is: are they backing Ole or paving the way for a "real" manager, like Poch?

Yeah, I understand the question. I just think it's a massive reach in logic

No, it is a natural progression really. Poch I am sure, fancies the OT job and only conditions of his exit payments stopping him from joining them now. Also, the fact that it is mid season.

Also, the OT hierarchy - the powers to be, would stab Ole in the back, and throw him out of the theatre of dream (doh!) if Poch even declared slightly his interest in the job

Watch Ole during interviews. You might see the daggers behind his back

OGS just has a poor squad at the moment. We needed a striker as well even if Rashford hadn’t got injured. Midfield we are very weak. Strikers very weak. Defence okay in certain positions. Goalkeeper only 1 great keeper in Romero and 1 below average in De Gea and Solskjaer biggest mistake is playing De Gea. He is as bad as Kepa.
