Every now and then when I feel a bit nostalgic (usually after a few pints and a bottle of claret) I just watch a few reels of George on you tube.

I feel privileged to have seen him play.

Was ridiculous what he did with a football at his feet. He embarrassed defenders every game and no matter how much they kicked him, he just got on with it. So many clips of him chasing back to win the ball and then setting off on a dribble of his own.

George Best was an absolute legend. Used to watch VHS tapes of him at the behest of my Norn Irish granddad as a kid. Him and Gazza for me the two most gifted players from the British isles. Sadly addiction facked them up. Flying too close to the sun can do that.

It wasn't to denigrate Giggsy who was a great for us. But it does show the difference between great and genius
