Hate to spread any negativity but too often since SAF have we made made big name or big money signings that haven’t lived up to expectations.
We’ve had the epic failures such as Sanchez, Di Maria, Depay, Schweinsteiger and Falcao.
We’ve had mixed bags such as Lukaku, Martial, Mata, Pogba, AWB (so far), Maguire (so far) and Zlatan (many will argue he was a success but not for me)
No signings there I would call major successes.
In fact the last big name signing we made that was a real success was RVP so forgive for not getting overly excited by Bruno Fernandes.
Hopefully he is exactly what we need though and is surely a massive upgrade on Mata, Lingard and Pereira.

Maybe first decent midfielder since Carrick. Carrick was 25 when he started playing in the PL four us and Fernandes will be as well. Both young 25's.
Could be the player that finally links the play up although I know Fernandes is more of a skilful player with goals and assists meaning he is more an attacking player but still they do similar roles in the team. The link from defence to attack has been missing for a while and Fernandes could be the player.

Shame Ed Woodward didn't get this transfer done sooner. We were missing a Fernandes type playere in last 20-30 minutes.

Love Bernardo Silva, quality player.

Even Pep sees the progress we are making under Solskjaer. This season for me is going to be the last hard season for us as next season we will be like in our prime to do things with better team chemistry and development in players.
