Time for a big performance

Since the Burnley game in early December we have been largely awful. Performances have been drab and we have got a lot of poor results.

However, Chelsea have been even worse and we're still right in the top 4 race. The City game offers a huge opportunity to galvanise our season. They're obviously still a very good team but nowhere near last season's level. We need to take advantage of this.

I'm hoping with Lo Celso in form and Ndombele fit we will be able to compete in midfield.

Jose's big game record has been woeful so far, 3 losses and 3 embarrassing displays. I really hope we go out there with a bit if intent because 3 points are there for the taking.

No way are City the best side in the country. I know you all love to hate Liverpool but they are milee ahead of City this season. 19 points clear and only drawn 1 game in the league. I don't care what your thoughts are on City, but anyone who doesn't think Liverpool are the best side in the country are deluded. Liverpool are arguably the best side in the world right now.

We have to buck our ideas up to get near the likes of these sides who understand what it takes to win trophies.

This. So much bitterness on here. Just face the facts, Liverpool are outstanding and are the best club side on the planet right now. No shame in admitting that.

Not for me Genius, they are having a good season agreed, but City are still better than them. Would you have said Leicester were head and shoulders above every other team when they won the league? I could watch City all season long, a couple of games against Liverpool is more than enough for me of watching the scousers. I find them pretty boring. They also play a lot of long ball stuff, just pump the ball forward, and get their pacy forwards on the end of it.

One off seasons don`t mean a lot. City still set the standard. And so they should, they have spent the most.
