Wasn't he ok until he signed a 4 year contract?

You dont actually think we, and not insurance, was paying his wages while he was injured do you?

Ive no idea how football insurance works. Whether it’s full covered, part covered, who knows. Haven’t added in the cost of the insurance neither 😆
I’ve gone cheap side on wages at 10k so i reckon £2m is a decent guesstimate either way

Have no idea about football insurance but it’s hard to disagree with Kebab on this. Hint of harshness though.. Batty too.
The most frustrating thing for me, as kebab mentions, he just went totally missing! I only remember he was playing when he got caught on the ball.

Yep In games during 17/18 season he just would not show for the ball. He’d sit in front of back four but never attempt to make space to collect the ball. I get that the fans was on his back for poor passing and mistakes costing goals etc but show some balls man and play your way back into some sort of form.

Dont understand all the hatred towards O'Kane.
Helped us do well in partnership with Philips, didnt work out in the end, he's moved on.
I don't recall him ever badmouthing us, never threw a strop, really nothing to castigate him about, not his fault club hands out stupidly long deals.

Never threw a strop? You don't recall him getting sent off at a crucial point in a game a couple of years back? Think it was Ipswich. It wasn't even a proper headbutt, just a petulant nod, but it cost us the points.
I don't hate anyone ... except maybe Roy Kean.

"Think it was Ipswich. It wasn't even a proper headbutt, just a petulant nod, but it cost us the points."
So, looking at things that way, the players,(maybe team!)from last season should be thought of the same way!..
He was sent of for an unreal headbutt that cost us points, we had a troop last year that cost us promotion!..
Football is like so many other sports, it'll bring people together or it'll destroy them!..
Good luck to him, I don't think anything people want to hold against him is right, he had an injury that could have stopped him showing his worth, but he's now at a team that also got crapped on by those in power and I hope he helps them to recover the same as us!..

I'm with Jonty on this. He certainly wasn't the worst...and his attitude always seemed spot on. We've had worse journeymen stealing a living from the club. I wish him well.

strop = complaint to press, refusing to train etc.
