Nobody is saying it was a heinous act.

The point being made is about the reaction to what he did. Lennon denied he did anything wrong and then we had many (not all) Celtic fans making comical excuses for Griffiths.

Show me anyone who backed up his actions and I’ll hold my hands up.

Everyone on here said it was stupid but typical. They may well have said it was harmless or argued about where the sticky tape was actually thrown. They may well have said something along the lines of him reacting to constant abuse.

None of that detracts from everyone on here saying he was a wee ned, fud, idiot or wherever.
