I'm craving for us to get goals from midfield in the league. I miss the days of Martin Tyler shouting "Ozilllllll" when he used to score.

They're crap because the tip of the MF spear is blunt like a butter knife. Goals will start to flow from MF, just as soon as we get Ozil regularly OUT of the starting lineup. Keep telling you, only the one MF needs urgently replacing, the 350k a week one!

Ozil has played only 50% of games so that makes no sense.

Our midfield is just too risk averse. Even under Arteta.

It says a lot that David Luiz has consistently been our best hope of a through-ball against a tight defence. And the only players who have attempted more shots than him in the league are our front 3, and Torreira.

I still think Willock and Saka can be the answer to midfield problems heck play even Martinelli there he will be very useful.

AMN is someone I think Mr Arteta will try and turn into a first XI midfielder.

And the other 50% the other midfielders still don't score... so the point that the goals will flow without Ozil is pretty ridiculous.

I think we should give the likes of Willock, AMN and Saka opportunity to shine in midfield and revisit in the summer.

No DJ what's ridiculous is people's continued refusal to accept that Ozil is PAST IT! Insisting he is still one of our best MFs. I fail to see why Arsenal fans are so insistent on supporting Wenger's biggest mistake. Greatly improved club/team fortunes long term, are hand in hand with accepting that Mesut Ozil has no place in the Arsenal team AT ALL.

He is and for the last 2-3 years has been, a liability and a handicap. Any progress made will be set back by lousy Ozil performance and his attitude stinking up the team. SAME SH!T DIFFERENT DAY! And sorry but Ozil has played more than 50% of this seasons PL games. I'm sickmof seeing his name in the bloody starting 11, it must have been there more than 12 times. Fanboys hounded him back into the team a couple games in. Crapping the season away in the process

Still waiting for the flood of goals from our midfield now that Ozil is gone
