Refs

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/51315398

Get a lot of stick, some are bad or have bad games, some look corrupt af but when you speak to them and hear their reasoning you can accept it easier and actually realise a lot of them are nice guys who enjoy a joke a laugh with players whilst respecting them but also, really enjoy their job and take it very seriously in wanting to do the best they can.

I can't be the only one gets annoyed when you feels the refs been a then hes smiling and laughing with the opposition players. Its easy to forget the context etc and the pressure theyre under and actually how hard their job is real time as Carra and Neville found out doing lino tests etc.

Anyway for me they should be involved more, we should atleast hear their reasoning live like rugby, i think it'd add to the game and they'd get a lot more respect from fans, i think refs and players genuinely have a respect for eachother already.

Refs accept so much abuse because they understand heat of the moment frustration etc which is why a lot of clear and obvious dissent is ignored when theyre being screamed at and swore at by players, they accept we're human and its competitive nature. They also as in the video clearly dont want to be sending players off for second yellows for taking their shirts off etc or silly soft fouls.

Also the video asks him about his goal celebration at WHL, to me i already figured he was just super happy he'd played a good advantage but a lot think hes actually a Spurs fan still to this day

Apparently so, but then Origi goes down like a sac of potatoes at Anfield, and yet you know the rest.....

Some things never change

I think personally if refs and VAR had to be "heard" at least over TV then fans might see them as slightly more human and less corrupt.

IF you heard tow incompentants trying their best to figure out what happened fine.

However if you miked up Dean today or Atkinson it'd be a bigger scandal than prince andrew.

Thats the reason why they don't. They know full well it'd be car crash.
