Statement and Motherwell v Celtic

First off, it was good to see Celtic find their voice yesterday. Since the 29th December we’ve had players, managers, board directors, TV anchors from STV and Sky sports all categorically state that Alfredo Morelos was racially abused at Celtic park.

On Monday the country’s leading tv broadcaster decided to air an interview in which they have altered what the player himself has said, to insinuate he heard Celtic fans aim racist chants or words at him. That has now been confirmed as absolute b0ll*ks and the full interview has now been properly translated. In fact, the only club Morelos takes a dig at is Aberdeen who once again appear to be getting away with murder.

Celtic’s statement was bang on the money but this isn’t anything new, Sky have recently hired 2 ex Rangers employees for their media content and one of which is one of the snideyest morons you’re ever likely to meet. Coincidentally, said employee tweeted the interview slating Scotland, saying it was a fantastic piece of work by his colleagues on the interview.... guess where that tweet is now? Yip, in his deleted folder. Andy Dickson is and always will be a boton.

Now, onto the game tonight and it should be a cracker at that. Don’t expect Motherwell to sit in against us, would expect a fast paced game and the 1st goal could be crucial.

The good news for us Elyounoussi is back training and might make the bench on Sunday, Frimpong is also back training on Monday so to have both of them for the Hearts/Aberdeen games that are coming is a bonus. Still nothing on El Hammed

I’d expect us to stick with what we have done recently formation wise but a few changes.

Welsh/Jozo

Edouard
Griffiths

Hayes is our injured so we should see Boli back in the squad. Not sure if Soro will be on the bench tonight.

If we win another treble this season then we’ve equalled Rangers tally for trebles.

3 titles behind them.

6 trophies overall behind them.

The chase is almost over

Erm

I think you might have that a tad incorrect there vis a vis who’d be greeting at the manner in which we won them

It's 3 trebles in a row or 4 trebles in a row. That annoys me more than actually having you win them
