Rangers v Hibs

Well that was a tough match - Hibs (as expected) put 11 behind the ball and hoped to get something on the counter which they did.

On their goal - it wasn't even a foul for their set-piece in the first place - it was never a booking for Edmundson but it was a foul on Greegs for their goal. Anyway - will comment on Bobby Madden later.

I thought we tried to play football the right way tonight but when you are faced with a 6-4-0 formation it is hard going but we kept at it and got a well deserved equaliser and subsequent winner.

Hagi - what a find he is. Love the way he is always looking for the ball and when he gets it - he plays with his head up and always looking for the incisive pass. If we have the option of buying him then definitely take it up. He is the real deal.

I also thought that Edmundson had a very accomplished game. I have always favoured him over Goldson and would like to see him and Katic as our CBs. Still have Helander to come back but I would still put Edmundson as one of our starting CBs.

Now - to Bobby Madden. First of all - there are no corrupt referees in Scotland - only incompetent ones. Tonight has to be one of the most incompetent performances I have saw in what - 10+ years?

All any manager/player/supporter wants is the rules interpreted as they should be and applied with consistency. That was an utter shambles tonight. It won't happen but on the back of this performance he should be demoted to the lower divisions for a few games to get his game straight.

Anyway - a hard-fought 3 points and it keeps the league alive.

Agreed we looked better once we changed formation.

Baffling that we spent £7M on a winger only to play him out of position. Not to mention the fact we brought in 5 wide men in the summer, only to not play with width.

Hopefully we continue to go with width.

Jones- Hagi-Kent would probably be the best option. Stewart for those games at home where there is no ambition for the opposition to play football.

Still not really a fan of jones

Not seen anything from Jones to say either way. I’d prefer Aribo over him anyway in those games, Jones pace and direct play wouldn’t be effective in those games against teams camped in

Jones looked good when he first signed but I don't think he's shown enough to be a starter.

Jones aint good enough imo, he is a head down and run in a steaight line player.

In terms of hagi, we all know he has something about him techncially we have all seen clips of hin showing rhis, but the thing tnhat i was looking for was his desire and hunger to get on the ball and do something with it. That is the most important thing for me. Hopefully its something we see every game feom him

Not a huge fan of him either but I think he'd maintain the width at least.

Kent - Hagi - Stewart

Behind Morelos, that's our best options imo.

Aribo is very hit and miss, good player but not consistent and should be in midfield if he plays when we play 4-2-3-1. Unless one of them is injured.

Jones first reserve for the wide positions and Ojo/Barker i only want to see in emergencies. I would actually rather see Hastie or McPake than those two charlatans.

Hastie actually looked a threat in the U21 game against Celtic on Tuesday.

He actually looked quick which isn't really the impression he gave when I have seen him before.

Maybe the Celtic LB was just very slow!

As far as Madden is concerned, isn't there someone from the Ref's Association or the SFA monitoring their performance at the game. FFS, Ginger apparently done a better job at last years Charity match. Madman looked as if it was his first ever game in charge.

Btw had an absolute nightmare on the predictor using my second joker. fooking waste of a joker.
