Selective racial search. Find a opposition fan but can't find the person who abused Rudiger.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

There is no independent evidence to confirm Rudiger was abused.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Rudiger didn`t get abused. He made it all up.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Wow.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Exactly.

Wow.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
With current technology neither the police or Tottenham found evidence of racist abuse, and no supporters in that area have come forward as any civil human would have.
He made it up.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There is no proof that he made it up either. Why jump to that conclusion? If there's is no proof of racism that doesn't mean it didn't happen, it only means proof can't be found.

You say he made it up. Where is your proof for this allegation? Or is the absence of proof for one assertion now being used as proof for another assertion.

What is this the 60s?

Do people no longer know how racism works? Do you know what you're doing by denying this?

There was no proof to put Al Capone behind bars for a long time. Surely this means he wasn't a gangster, no?

If a girl is raped and it can't be proven do you go around accusing her of lying? Or do you just do that to black people?

Just because there is no proof doesn't mean it did/didn't happen. It seems to me most people understand this except when it comes to racism.

Fact is, the standard for racism is different. White people want conclusive proof and nothing else. If there's none then it didn't happen. Other ethnicities need only the allegation to be made and they'll believe it. Both are ridiculous.

The education system has failed. People are soooo thick now. "No evidence has been found so he was lying" Anyone making this claim does not understand racism, period. These are people who care more about exonerating their club than they care about racism.

This is actually sad and embarrassing to see people in this country thinking like this and I hope Rudiger stays strong. We used to be number one here but other countries are now overtaking us.

Racist views and opinion are now being aired more freely and without consequence. How people can come to a public forum to accuse a victim of lying because no proof has been found is proof of this. We all know lack of proof doesn't mean it didn't happen but we don't care, just care about the club.

Racism is no longer revered and people don't hold their tongue or have second thoughts before gobbing off anymore and even worse, racists are now playing the victim and purporting to be the impressed ones.

Klopptimus, I agree with what you are saying RE the bigger picture.

However, I am convinced there were no monkey chants. I was at the game and have also been a ST holder for 7 years. Of course I can't claim to know what happens in all parts of the stadium, but at the moment Rudiger claimed to hear the monkey chants, I am telling you it would be impossible to hear 50 people make those noises, let alone 1 or 2.

That said, I believe he was mistaken. No issue, he thought he heard it and has every right to bring it to people's attention.

The reaction by the media and ex players etc is the major problem.

Perhaps he was mistaken. If he was then it's a mistake that can happen even in day to day life and will continue to happen. Even Holgate later said he might have misheard what Firmino said, no? Its entirely possible. We'll never know. The approach needs to be reasonable though.

The issue is with the reaction. "Oh look, the investigation found no evidence, Rudi faked it". That's just pathetic. Its the practice that suppresses reporting of racism because victims feel their claims will be explained away, excuses made and finally painted as a bad person. Why report racism when its possible that the investigation finds nothing and you are labelled a faker?

Its the same concept that suppresses the reporting of serious crimes like rape. We know some girls fake it and by the same token, some people also fake racist abuse (like that American idiot actor) but you can't have a dismissive approach because of that.

People saying he made it up were looking for a reaction and kloppy here took up the bait.
Its quite obvious he misheard it but ludicrous to suggest he made it up but hands up If no one knew which direction this article would end up

Yeah, this is how it goes. Clearly they weren't looking for a reaction and even if they were, its not just this thread, is it? There was even an article about it a few weeks ago on the Spurs board. Furthermore, its not limited to this website. Were all those people looking for a reaction?
