I went to see Perth v Wellington tonight in the league over here, and with Perth cruising 3-0 up, Garry Hooper comes on as a sub for Wellington and scored a double to make it a nervy ending.
Thankfully Perth got a goal in the last minute to win 4-2.
Garry looked pretty sharp in front of goal , but the standard in this league is pretty poor.
It was funny seeing hooper playing for the opposition team again. Last time I was at a game when hooper scored, was Rangers 4 Celtic 2 in September 2011. We scored a last minute goal that day too, to seal the 4-2 win.
Interesting to see hooper over here playing and doing well. Surely with his ability he would still get a contract with a championship club or someone like Hibs or Aberdeen no problems.
