Media: City chasing two highly-rated youngsters?

The mid-season break is now very much under way – but that hasn’t stopped City transfer gossip from pouring in.
Today, two new names are in the frame: one a defender, one a winger.
So, without further ado…
FC Naija: Big battle as United to rival Man City for highly-rated star

Big battle as Manchester United to rival Manchester City for a highly-rated defender Marash Kumbulla to partner Harry Maguire at Old Trafford during this summer's transfer window.
The 19-year-old Hellas Verona center-back who has made 18 Serie A appearances and notched one goal in the process for his Italian club during the 2019-20 campaign but the defender still has more two years contract at Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi.
Kumbulla made his international football debut for Albania in October 2019 despite able to feature the Italian national team because he was born in Peschiera del Garda.
According to Tuttosport report that Manchester United have joined the race to sign the Hellas Verona defender in the summer with Manchester City and two Bundesliga sides Borussia Dortmund and Eintracht Frankfurt are interested in him as well.

Metro: Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City in transfer battle to sign Nigeria winger Samuel Chukwueze
Metro Sport Reporter writes: “Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City have all expressed interest in signing Villarreal and Nigeria winger Samuel Chukwueze, according to reports.
“Chukwueze has developed into a key player for La Liga side Villarreal over the past two years and has featured in 19 of their 23 league games this season.
“The 20-year-old was strongly linked with a £30million move to Liverpool during the recent January transfer window and the Reds are expected to revive their interest in the summer.
“But the Daily Mail say the Premier League leaders will face competition from domestic rivals Chelsea and Man City, who are also interested in striking a deal for Chukwueze."
