Looks like loftus cheek is still on recovery and will play another U23 game. I really hope he comes back with anywhere near the effectiveness of the end of last season where after hazard he was our most impressive player.

Hopefully by March he can be back in the squad and help us with our push into the top 4. He really has that something extra, similarly to kovacic he can take the ball past players, but has a much better end product and we could deal with him chipping in with goals from midfield.
Also Billy Gilmour, our resident 10 year old, has now been made a permanent fixture in the first team squad. Not sure how this will pan out as we already have kovacic, jorgino, kante, barkley, mount who can play central midfield but must be a confidence boost for him and I know many of our fans rate him.

Only seen him a couple times, not as up with the youth as some of our other posters on here.
He has not looked out of place when i have seen him but he is very slight. Nippy over 5 yards, good agility and tidy on the ball. not dissimilar to winks.

Very happy about Billy Gilmour, definitely one for the future.
I'm not even thinking about Loftus-Cheek coming back this season. At this stage I'd almost prefer he just plays with the U23's until the end of the season so that he's less likely to get injured again and then we could play him in the first team as soon as preseason begins.
