Welcome to the party, welcome to the party tonight
Last night turned out to be another perfect evening for the T@rrier’s. A 5-0 win against the team bottom of the league is nothing to shout about but when you add in a Rangers losing 2-1 to Kilmarnock then it has great significance.
It’s funny because at half time, Rangers were in control and strolling at Rugby Park whilst Celtic were sluggish and passing up a few gilt edge chances.
Ntcham did however get us going in the first half, composed finish on the rebound. That’s now 8 for the season for him, he’ll surely be looking to get 15 before the end of the season and hopefully now it dispels this myth we’re trying to shoehorn him in. Lennon realises he’s the best midfielder in the country when he’s at it and he’s quite regularly at it these days, his play for the 3rd goal is stupendous.
We did get a 2nd just before that through big Julien again, that’s now 7 for the season from the big man, that’s what £7 million can get you but it’s not for everyone
The 4th arrived just before Killie got back on level terms, Christie getting on the scoresheet.
The 5th was another headed goal, big Jozo this time who once again proved his salt, he gets a lot of unfair criticism I feel, arguably he’s our best natural defender and Lennon loves him.
The full time whistle was met with serious joy after the result at Rugby Park. That’s now 10 points and +18 goals clear of Rangers in 2nd place, yes they have a game in hand but they also have to face us twice and in this kind of form, there’s only going to be one winner.
I understand some people don’t think it’s over just through fear of blowing it. However, for me, we’re not losing 3 games with Rangers winning every one between now and May.
We just need to ram it home on Sunday (steady pointy)
Enjoy the party troops, 9 in a row HWFG

Then you met a bird that needed them in her shoes...

To be fair she could have hardy Gary glitter boots on she was getting muffed on a wa in Moodiesburn
I some times wonder if she remembers without screaming
----------------------------------------------------------------------
the wa probably remembers it

Agreed Piff. Ronaldo looks...I can't put it into words...just way less dynamic? Looks and runs like a lassie now?

Silver, aye, he's a shadow of the previous player, he's good enough to still score goals and is still better than most but he's lost a step, it's too regimented for me to fully enjoy, I've watched better SPFL games, honestly, from an enjoyment perspective anyway

Yep, never enjoyed Italian football even in it hyped hey-day. Respect it, yes. Enjoy, no. Too much tactical and cynical play.
