Stoke,back in the day was a hairy place to go. I remember (mid seventies) going in the Boothan End wiv about twenty ard core Rangers. Well, I came out wiv me pride intact but precious little else. It was a good job the St Johns ambulance people were on and to patch us up. Deez days the supporters ave calmed down but I bet there will be a few from Stoke lookin for bother on Saturday. Anyway, the game : It's a game both clubs will fancy winning and both probably need to win. If dares a late season surge from Wigan the six clubs immediately above dem will go on relegation alert. So, come on you R's it's been a while since we claimed all three points.

I see dat recently our gruesome twosome ave been spouting off about our club and it's future. Our incompetent director of football and "I'm just the accountant, I know nuffin about the footballing side of tings can't answer the question,when is the new training ground gonna get under way. Day also ave no new ideas for a new stadium. Ave day ever considered going "cap in and" and ask the Fools for a ground share ? I can't wait for the club to get rid of these two parasites who are probably on a bigger salary dan most of our players.

Ave Dull and the Swans,(4-4)last night set a precedent for dis afternoons eleven games? I fink this afternoons eleven games will produce more dan 50 goals. That's despite tight games between Albion and Forest and Leeds versus Bristol.

Today's likely inclement wether will be a pitch "leveller". Dat simply means if we ave the muzzle we'll win dis. I'd love to see Masterson and Barbet start in the centre of our defence but I don't fink it'll appen.
