This lad let us down badly with the ill time frustrated tackle that meant he was suspended for 3 games. Its not his fault that the hierarchy felt it unnecessary to find a midfield to cover him and injuries in January but all the same it was wreckless.
This last 2 games have shown just how much we have missed him. He has been the main man in both games dictating control of the game in our favor against two top rivals. He is back and its clear his intention is to literally beat his chest and drag us over the finishing line. Id love to see the smile on his face if he accomplishes his mission.
Adrian Durham has been banging on about him for months now, stating hes the best player in the championship. I only hope that it us that benefits from him playing in the Premier because if we fail sadly his transfer fee will pay for Costa.

He completely bosses the midfield. Great passing range, no one can get the ball off him and he is so good at anticipating where the ball with drop and making tackles.

Last two games, he’s been sensational.
Maybe that couple of weeks off, as really helped.

Name me an English DM that's better, if we had the likes of Rice and Dier at the club would they get the nod ahead of Kal, I don't think so.
If he had gone to Villa he would be in the England squad without a doubt, shows just how Myopic Southgate is.

There’s was always a good player in him. Had the best skill set of any of our midfielders. Just clear he wasn’t being used in the correct position.

Stuart Dallas left wing to full back.
I’d actually like to see Costa more central. For 30 minutes yesterday he interchanged with Pablo and it was really effective.

Agree Kebab. KP was always highly regarded by Lucy & Redders. The academy voices said for ages he was a star in the making. It took El Loco to figure out where Kalvin needed to be. Then coached him up to being the phenomenal player he is.

It was like a Leeds special all day yesterday on 606.
A lot of take about Bamford, how he's not a natural finisher, works hard, but is not the complete striker that Bielsa once had at Bilbao in the form of Llorente I think it was who pressed AND scored goals.
They then talked a lot about Philips and to a man felt he should be in England squad.
What a transformation, but so many coaches picked him, they could see his quality, despite the negativity we we in forums like this.
I really hope he goes all the way with us, he is one player that just won't look right in anyone else's strip.
