….is where Robbie Savage reckoned we'll end this season:
https://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/1240136/Premier-League-final-table-predicted-Liverpool-Man-Utd-Arsenal-Chelsea-Man-City-Tottenham
As this was before the Wolves match which he expected us to lose, he presumably now anticipates a 75 point haul.
That means we would need to harvest another 25 points from the remaining 12 fixtures, which with Wilf struggling with his knee injury seems a bit optimistic to me.
Since we had our outstanding start to the season, getting 38 points in the first 16 games, our form has dropped off dramatically, getting 12 points from the next 10 matches. It doesn't seem likely we'll average over 2 points a game from here on in?
Looking at the remaining fixtures, (being hopeful) I'd go for 5 wins, 2 draws and 5 defeats, giving us a total of 67 points. That would probably be sufficient for a Champions League spot, given that most of the chasing pack would need to average over 2 points a game to overtake us, and 5th place might see you over the line in any event given the issues with Man City.
Anybody feel that Robbie is right, or maybe that I'm being too negative/positive?

As long as you get a CL place it will have been a great season and a platform to build further.

If we’re going to get even close to what Savage is predicting, we need to start creating goal scoring chances again.
