took a little longer than expected to be honest, but its a sure sign of panic on the part of the rangers manager.
I'm talking of course about the inclusion of Andy Halliday to the rangers line-up.
couple of bad results?
football not going your way?
how can you improve it?
by brining on a guy who runs about growling with his wee goblin face.
happy to see him back in the rangers team
That time of the season...

From reading that, there's a very real chance of Celtic being seriously disadvantaged in the post-split fixtures, by having to playing not 1, but 2, of the top 6 AWAY for a THIRD time this season. That's what makes the current split structure a farce, after 3 rounds of fixtures.
I like the idea of the split (keeps more games competitive for longer into the season, and means playing the dross less times ... no offence to the dross), but IMO we need to change the league size so that this type of farce can't happen ... 14 team top flight, with a split into top 6/bottom 8 after playing everybody TWICE (26 games), then play everybody in the top 6 (or bottom 8) TWICE AGAIN post-split ... job done. Impossible then to have an uneven number of homes/aways etc. Means 36 league games for the top 6 (with 4 OFs guaranteed, and easier to accommodate Euro fixtures etc), 40 games for the bottom 8 (with 2 extra home games as some sort of compo for only getting 4 games against the OF a season, instead of 6 as the bottom six get currently).

BTW ... Is Stevie G, as Rangers manager, seriously getting involved in the debate about City potentially being stripped of league titles due to financial doping?! ...

PS ... Apologies if already discussed elsewhere today. Haven't been on.

Mentioned it yesterday as son had seen something - maybe this?
Not sure his views will be too welcome closer to home?

Nobody is saying that playing andy Halliday is actually illegal.
It's definitely borderline though.
