We can't rush him," manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said.
"Hopefully he will play again this season but it will be touch and go towards the end."
"I hope he would play before the end of the season but if he is not fit then he won't go [to the euros]."
"It has taken time. I'm not a doctor but obviously I was hoping that he would recover quicker than it looks like he is going to. It looks like he is going to be out for a few months definitely.
"He had a scan and it is more severe than we expected. When it heals he'll be stronger for it so we can't rush him"

Gutting, he was well on course for a 30+ goal season
Rashford - More serious than thought

Massive blow. Top scorer, starting to look like the real deal. Should definitely write him off for the season, let him heal, get some kind of agreement with England in place now not to play in the Euros.
One question though our medical staff have come under fire recently for missing things and getting the prognosis' wrong a few times, is this another one?

Didn’t ole say they knew he had one stress fracture? Then it became a double stress fracture?

Ole can be a bit confusing at times, but what I got from his answers regarding Rashford was that he had a back injury, but it wasn't a stress fracture. The injury sustained against Wolves was a new injury that they initially thought was a stress fracture, before further sans reveled it was a double stress fracture.

He had a back problem, he played, his back problem became far worse.
Ole, the players and medical staff all irresponsible in my opinion

Not if its a different back problem
If you have an in grown toe nail and break a metatarsal are the injuries connected?
