Notes From Today

- Mourinho set us up horribly wrong today. Far, far too passive.

- Dele needs to stop stropping whenever he gets subbed. He’s far from pulling up trees, isn’t playing great but is still starting every game, so facking rein it in.. I’m not Lamela’s biggest fan but Dele should take a leaf out of his book.

- We were absolutely toothless upfront without Son. The disrespect he’s had this season from our fans is a joke. A player who has become taken for granted.

- Davies doesn’t offer enough and needs replacing.

- Gedson is promising.

- Lo Celso is quality.

Gedson is facking crap. Some neat flicks now and then but is slow, doesn't seem a great passer or tackler. Don't know his point compared to ndombele
----------------------------------------------------------------------
There’s been nothing in his performances to suggest “he’s facking crap” that’s one of the biggest hyperbole I’ve ever seen on here.

He’s been okay considering he’s been here 4 weeks

Ok maybe not "facking crap". But he doesn't offer much at all. All of my points still stand re his skills

Nah he was playing well tbf and I think the bloke is a total donkey

When he can do defensive work higher up the pitch he's actually decent but in games like this he's such a clown - people point to the penalties and red cards but just in general he's shiiite closer to his own goal. Awful positioning and doesn't even move particularly well for someone who was pitched as being very athletic, Werner was absolutely breezing past him

Tanganga should be starting any game where the right back isn't going to be camping in the opposition half all game

I'm talking the kind of bus parking where people joke he played with a back seven, those instances where he doesn't compromise at all. He'll view this as an absolute mustn't lose and rightly see us as 100% containable.

0-0 & one of the most boring games of the season is a safe bet for Saturday.

My notes:

We're facked!

This.

In all seriousness i thought you played reasonably well, just the lack of a striker killed any good moves. Very unfortunate to lose both main strikers to injuries, completely different tie if they were available.

Tbf we played just as bad recently with both strikers.

Southampton away with Kane was probably the worst performance under Jose

How we are set up and how we defend isnt to do with strikers. As much as any team misses their best 2 players you have to have the foundations in place first. We are so disjointed and have been most of the season regardless of the personel. Need to switch to a 433 and sign a new defence

Agree with Neo. I thought you lot weren't too bad and looked stronger towards the end. Looking forward to Sandy's "Now the dust has settled on..." article tomorrow and his analysis that will run counter to 95% of the (more sensible) Spurs fans on here

Sandy is probably reading all these "I'm waiting for Sandy's Now the Dust..." and might well not post anything.

However, just as Donald Trump can't stop tweeting, Sandy can't stop posting, so..... expect to see it sooner or later!

'I thought aurier was outstanding'

'Winks offers nothing'

'Toby is finished'

'Poor jose so unlucky with injuries'

My summary is we lacked a forward option. I'm not making excuses for Jose as you probably know I'm not his biggest fan , but his adapted the team to play without Kane and is now having to do it without Son and Kane.

A 1-0 loss isn't the best result but it's not the worse , get the first goal away and anything is possible , The Davies summary is harsh.
