A classic game of two half’s.
Genuinely struggled with how I should be feeling after that last night. Before the game I had said any score draw was a decent result but at half time we should have been 3-0 up and the tie finished. We didn’t take our chances and we preceded to play our worst football in 10 mins of the 2nd half for some time.
The first half was a joy to watch at times, going forward we looked like we could score every time we went forward but equally I felt we looked solid at the back apart from one or two hairy moments from Kristopher Ambrose, more on him later.
We got the goal and what a lovely goal it was, ironically it should have been his hat trick by then but it was still good to get the goal we deserved.
First 90 seconds of the 2nd half sort of painted the picture of how the full half would go. We were sloppy in possession and Copenhagen upped the tempo and started firing balls right into the box at every opportunity. The goal actually comes from a few errors for me, first off Forrest sheidts out a tackle that is 70/30 in his favour, it then goes inside and then back out, ball comes in and big Julien try’s to play a ball into the middle of our half but it’s not really directly at anyone, then Ntcham forgets about the ball and try’s to play the man, fails, the ball is then slotted into N’Doye and it’s some finish to be fair.
Catalogue of errors you might say but after that we then had 2 wonderful chances, the first is for McGregor who inexplicably decided to not slip in Eddy and shoot and pan a windae. The 2nd is a great move down the left and Eddy gets a toe on the cross but their keeper who had 3 or 4 really good saves kept them in it.
Then we seemed to lose the plot on the ball, passing wayward, captain trying to do their captain and ending up injuring himself in the process (phanny) Frimpong looking like a wee boy who’d won a raffle to play and Johnny Hayes pinging baws into the middle of the park without looking.
The only guy with any real credit for the full 90 is Christopher Julien, not only was he outstanding, he was playing next to a young whippersnapper who KEEPS FLUCKING DIVING IN!!!!! How many games will It take for that Kant to learn? Jesus Christ!
Final big moment of the night and Ryan Christie once again selling the jerseys in a big game, hopeless when the going gets tough and wit the fluck is he shutting his eyes and jumping with his arm in the air like that for.
Thankfully big Forster once again with a huge save.
I’m looking forward to next Thursday, we’ll likely be without Brown but Griffiths hopefully back so we can go 3-5-2.

That handball ruling is a complete and utter joke
What is wrong with if it's deliberate then it's a foul , other than that no handball??
Why did it change ?

There are some things that are always subjective and handball is one.Some look deliberate and some dont but its who determines and how.
FFS They changed the kick off, fook knows why cos there weren't to my knowledge any great issues around that

I think judging if it's deliberate or not is easier than it sounds
Yes someone has to make that call but it's better than this ....seen so many shietey penalties and goals chopped off now through it

In real time i'd expect refs to get it wrong sometimes, but the ref last night used the var screens to watch the handball, and it was 100% undeniably an accidental handball.
