Morning All
Don't think many of us are too confident tomorrow...
*Shocking record at the Bridge
*We never win big games with a lot oln the line
*Lampard totally schooled Jose at the Lane & we had a stronger team
*Tough mid week game with Chelsea having a week off
*We never play well on early kick off's
*Kane/ Son.... That's been done to death
Granted chelsea aren't pulling up any trees at home and have fair number of injuries themselves
I'm so tired of Jose starting every game, trying to to lose and when the inevitable happens we don't have the players at our disposal to mount much of fight back. I don't expect us to win and would happily sign for a draw now. I would like us to have a go and knowing that we don't have the players to play off a CF its imperative we are more positive in midfield and trying to play with far more possession. That means dropping Winks, he's form of possession is pointless as its too deep and has no impact on the game. I know Its a risk but I really want us to have a go and if we lose a shootout so be it.... I don't trust us to to either have the discipline or the players to park the bus

I think the game will strewn with errors but I fancy us to score a couple. Would love a high scoring draw but we cannot keep playing 2 (one being Winks in MF) we get totally overrun. Those front 6 all offer something different and are all pretty flexible in terms of switching positions.... Might give Fat Frank something to think about rather than the other way around like it was at the Lane

What do we expect tomorrow

If Jose really is "The Special One" then it's times like this when he should be able to use all his wits and navigate us to victory.

It's funny isn't it. When Spurs win, it's because Mourinho has brought about a major improvement in the team. When Spurs lose, it's because his hands are tied with all the injuries and underperforming players.
This is the case for every manager ever, to be fair. Not just Mourinho by any stretch.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He's been unlucky with injuries for sure, but in terms of his reputation I don't feel we've seen enough of his magic so far; enough of that tactical guile. He's resembled no more than a decent manager, rather than a special manager.
Either Spurs simply don't have enough tools to provide him with that magic or he's no longer as special as he was.

One thing is guaranteed. Chelsea will outpass and out manoeuvre us no matter who they have out injured.
I would go as far as saying without the ball we are the worst team in the EPL in handling it and with the ball when pressed we are poor in possession to the point of embarrassing.
Chelsea unfortunately have the upper hand for me. if we are to win it has to be very ugly like the Man City game..

Yeah... I mean, for £15m a year and a sky-high reputation you'd probably expect a bit more obvious managerial magic and a bit less obvious reliance on opposition wastefulness.
This season has been so lame.

To be fair to him he has always been at team with the tools to wield his magic.
No top manager in the world ever can sustain a EPL campaign with sub standard players. Yes, they can work their magic in some games but in the long run they will be found wanting. At the moment our team is not quite there yet but easy for fans to dig out Mourinho although I do admit there are basic things we could be doing better.

This season has made me love the club a bit less than I did.
To dare is to do?
We don’t ‘do’ anything.

Chelsea don't do well against the kind of low block that Jose prefers. I predict a pretty poor game of football with one goal in it. Hopefully from us on the break.. 2-1 Spurs.

I expect to lose.
And I hope to win.
And have a drink with Sandy in the Dove on the River afterwards.
