I remember a couple of English players tried to bring the English art of diving up to the Scottish Premiership and just got laughed at then one of the opposition players broke both of the diver's legs to teach her a lesson and then the ref gave a penalty to the player who broke the legs as a reward and to show that diving is not acceptable in the Scottish Premiership

This kind of thing is great. Was it Jens Lehmann that once just opened laughed at a player faking injury?

If all the fans just openly laughed at the rolling around it might shame the players into thinking twice. I'd love it if players laughed as well but lets face it, every team does it so it's rare players will call it out.

Francis Lee did something similar in the ‘70s when he thought George Best was diving, complains to the ref then starts belly flopping on the pitch. Shame it never caught on...
