Lingard & Perreira

Reports coming out that neither are in the squad for tomorrow

Great news if true. Are we seeing the beginning of the end for this pair? They have both been woeful this season and lingard best part of the last 3 yrs. Happily see them both sold in the summer.

Greenwood, Gomes and best of all McTominay back apparently

Wonder if Gomes' inclusion indicates a breakthrough in negotiations? Ole said this week that we were still having and with him and Chong

The squad doesn’t look half bad anymore. Add Rashford, Pogba, Tuanzebe and this team looks like it has some real potential with a few reinforcements.

Indeed, but Pogba probably won’t be here next season. When’s tuanzabe due back?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I heard he started when training when McT did during the winter break. He shouldn't be that far off.

As for Pogba, it feels like Raiola is back tracking after his interview with talk sports but yes it's still more likely he leaves.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Riola has probably been told to calm it down, he wasn’t doing his client any favours, Pogba does not want to be here. So it will all be sorted in summer.

Unless no one wants to buy him..which is a possibility depending on how stupid ed is...
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I think that’s the problem Pogba is going to have. I can’t see many clubs wanting to deal with the Raiola circus and pay the fee United want.

Pogba came to United over other clubs. It hasn’t worked out so he wants to leave. Fine. I don’t see how his agent trying to make that happen equals a circus

Interesting to see who gets dropped for McT, as both Fred and Matic have both been good (never expected to write a sentence like that!)

If McTominay can pick up where he left off, and if Fred can keep up his form, and if Bruno can build on a promising start, we may actually have a decent midfield - and that’s without Pogba.

I don’t think mcT should walk back into the side tbh

He’s a good player but not so good he gets back into this midfield automatically

It won’t be autoMatic - it’ll be insteadoMatic.

Matic has played a lot recently and wasn't rested on thursday. Wouldn't be surprised if he was given a rest today.

Loads of games coming up

I dont think it's a matter of one player being dropped for another.

Mct might start on the bench and come on for matic today or the other way around

McTominay was playing amazing in the last game he played. Such a big loss for us. He will allow us to get consistently great performances again. Thats the difference since he left. Fernandes and McTominay could be a great partnership.
